Aaron Champlin

Senior Estimator

Aaron Champlin brings decades of hands-on construction experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to move a project successfully from preconstruction through final delivery. Born into a construction family and raised around job sites, Aaron began working full time in new residential construction in 1996. He later transitioned into remodeling before focusing his career on HOA reconstruction in 2011. He joined PrimeCo in May 2026 as a Senior Estimator. In his role, Aaron reviews and develops scopes of work, prices projects, and identifies value-engineering opportunities that help clients achieve their goals while staying mindful of budget. Working closely with PrimeCo’s estimating and production teams, he helps ensure proposals are accurate, cost-effective, and, most importantly, practical to build. His background as a carpenter, estimator, salesperson, and project manager allows him to approach each project from both the field and office perspectives. Aaron is a union-certified journeyman carpenter and holds certifications for operating a variety of specialty equipment, including boom lifts, telehandlers, forklifts, excavators, and skid steers. He is also certified in First Aid and CPR. His areas of expertise include structural repairs, extensive waterproofing projects, and large-scale pool facility renovations. Throughout his career, Aaron has taken particular pride in solving complex problems and bringing a calm, practical approach to challenging projects. One of his most memorable accomplishments was completing a year-long renovation of a large community pool facility. Hearing the excitement from children and positive feedback from residents as the new facility opened made the project especially rewarding. He has also worked on significant HOA improvements, including an elevator retrofit and major renovations to a master clubhouse. What Aaron appreciates most about PrimeCo is the company’s commitment to growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. He values being part of a team where his experience and input are genuinely appreciated and where investments in training, technology, PrimeTracker, AI, sales, and marketing continue to move the company forward. As a full-time single father, Aaron also appreciates PrimeCo’s flexibility and family-oriented culture. Originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Aaron has called Southern California home for the past 18 years. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, spending time on the ocean, and exploring the mountains, lakes, and rivers. He especially enjoys trips to Catalina and traveling with his daughter, Brynna, including visits back to Hawaii. Aaron and Brynna share their home with Marley, their 12-year-old Maltipoo. And one fact that tends to surprise people: Aaron owns a boat but has absolutely no interest in fishing. For him, being on the water is all about enjoying the ocean, the scenery, and the experience.
