Painting Estimator

Estee Musgrove serves as a Painting Estimator at PrimeCo, where she develops detailed scopes of work, identifies and mitigates potential project risks, provides value-engineered solutions, and helps ensure clients receive the highest level of service from the earliest stages of a project. Since joining PrimeCo a little over a year ago, Estee has become an important connection between the estimating and production teams and the clients they serve. Estee specializes in estimating painting projects for condominium communities, apartment buildings, and high-rise properties. These projects often require complex scopes of work and a thoughtful understanding of each property's individual needs. She takes an analytical, detail-oriented approach to estimating while working closely with PrimeCo's Business Development Managers to ensure they have the information and resources necessary to serve their clients effectively. One of Estee's strengths is understanding what a client is trying to accomplish—even when they may not know exactly how to communicate it. She enjoys making recommendations, identifying solutions, and translating technical project details into clear, understandable information for homeowners and community decision-makers. Estee takes particular pride in creating polished, comprehensive proposals. She recognizes that a proposal is often one of a client's first impressions of how PrimeCo will approach their project, so she focuses on developing scopes that are thorough and professional while still being easy for clients to understand. For Estee, earning the trust of her team has been one of her most meaningful accomplishments since joining PrimeCo, particularly as a young woman building her career in the construction industry. What Estee enjoys most about her role is being the bridge between PrimeCo's production teams and its clients. She values the opportunity to build genuine relationships with people while using her skill set to help improve and beautify the communities they call home. She also appreciates PrimeCo's family-owned culture and the company's commitment to respecting, supporting, and investing in its employees. Estee was born in China and raised in North County San Diego, which she considers home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, trying new restaurants, traveling, sewing, crocheting, reading, and watching true crime shows. She also makes a point to regularly read or watch something educational or focused on personal growth. Cooking is another major passion for Estee. She is responsible for making all the side dishes at family holidays and, after years of learning different techniques and the science behind cooking, rarely uses a recipe. A few other things people might not expect about her: she studied ballet for a decade, is terrified of heights, and takes her coffee one way—plain black, with no cream or sugar.
