Zach Musgrove

Director of Pre-Construction

As Director of Preconstruction, Zach Musgrove oversees PrimeCo's sales and estimating teams, ensuring that project scopes and estimates are accurate and that every proposal reflects what the client is trying to accomplish. He also connects preconstruction with project management and production, helping create a smooth handoff so that the expectations established during the sales process carry through to the completed project. Zach has spent more than a decade with PrimeCo and began his career in the field as a painter. He worked his way up to foreman before moving into the office in a sales role and eventually advancing into management. That hands-on progression gave him a practical understanding of how projects are estimated, sold, managed, and built. Before joining PrimeCo, Zach completed the College Works Painting internship, where he learned how to operate a painting business from beginning to end. He marketed directly to homeowners, estimated and sold projects, coordinated production, and helped complete the painting work himself. With extensive experience in painting and carpentry, Zach brings a strong work ethic, practical field knowledge, and an ability to think creatively about complicated projects. He especially enjoys bringing the different parts of the business together and developing strategies that give clients the right scope, strong value, and the best possible warranty. He takes pride in delivering finished projects that clients and the PrimeCo team can genuinely feel accomplished about. Zach believes PrimeCo stands apart because it combines the resources and capabilities of a large contractor with the personal attention of a smaller company. Clients receive individualized service without sacrificing quality, accountability, or expertise. A lifelong Southern California resident, Zach enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and one-year-old daughter. He is also passionate about the desert, building off-road trucks, and riding dirt bikes. His coworkers and clients may be surprised to learn that before overseeing preconstruction, Zach built his career from the ground up—with a paintbrush in his hand.
